Step Study Group
Sydney Intergroup is offering two x 18 week step study groups, working thru the ACA Yellowbook Step Working Guide. The groups will be facilitated by Kinch, a member of the Toronto Canada Group, who has run Step Study Groups and Laundry List Groups for the past number of years.
Each Group will have 35 participants only.
Group 1: Saturdays 11am – 1pm January 30 – June
Group 2: Sundays 11am – 1pm February 21 – June 27
Our experience with the Ready Set Go Weekend Workshops, was that we had many people register and then not attend, meaning others missed out.
We ask you to consider this before registering.
With places so limited, our intention is that each place is filled, and all members get a fair chance to attend. Participants will be placed in a first come first served basis.
We will confirm your registration by email, and then you will receive an email, two weeks before the commencement, asking you to reconfirm. If you do not confirm, your place may be offered to another member at this point. At any time during these two weeks, please notify us if your circumstances change, and you cannot commit?
The focus of this group is recovery, thru the study, application and practise the Twelve Steps of ACA.
As children we developed behaviours to survive our dysfunctional family. We carried these behaviours, attitudes and feelings with us into adulthood. They are the source of our pain and unhappiness.
If we wish to change our lives, we must learn a new way of life. The Twelve Steps are the tools that teach us how to live with greater awareness. Through a process of acceptance, and action, we will begin to recover from the effects of family dysfunction.
To register your interest in attending an upcoming workshop, please complete the form below. Once your registration form is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from the Step Study Group. If you do not receive a confirmation email (don’t forget to check your Spam/Junk folder first) or have further questions, please email StepStudy@acoasydney.com.au.
